Union County Adult
Education offers educational opportunities for adults age eighteen and older the opportunity to
complete or continue their education. For non-English speaking adults,
we offer English as a Second Language(ESL) classes as well as literacy
classes.
The program is
open to all citizens of Union County who want to complete a high school
diploma, obtain a GED, acquire or upgrade job skills, learn to read,
improve basic math or reading skills, learn to speak or write in English
or improve computer skills.
Individuals
have the opportunity to enhance their academic skills for the job market
with Work Keys certification
which validates skills that employers are looking for.
Certified Nursing
Assistant classes are held in the spring, summer and fall terms for students who
desire to work in the caregiver field.
We are dedicated to
addressing the individual needs of adult learners through one-to-one
instruction, small group instruction, scheduled classes, self-paced and
teacher-led instruction.
