Relay for Life Jelly Bean Guess Contest
Excelsior raised $193.25 for the March of Dimes 2002 by guessing how many jelly beans were in a gallon jar. Mrs. Sammy Nix in our Lighthouse Cafe had the winning guess. There were around 1068 beans in the jar!
Relay for Life Canister Contest begins on Monday, March 25 and goes through Friday, April 26. All students and teachers who were willing to participate picked up a film canister in homeroom for collecting quarters. All homerooms competed against each other. The homeroom winner each week got to keep the trophy until another homeroom beat them. The homeroom who won it overall gets to keep it for a YEAR!
