Car Line Procedures

Morning Arrival
Parents, please be sure to have your child at school on time each morning.  School begins promptly at 7:50.  All car riders should enter the school using the back entrance.  Once the road becomes “one way,” cars should form two (2) lanes of traffic.  Please pull completely to the traffic director in order to maximize the number of cars being able to unload at one time.  If you are in the inside lane, students should stand in the middle section of the road until instructed to cross through the outside lane, once all vehicles have come to a complete stop.  The traffic director will release one lane at a time to exit the campus.

Afternoon Dismissal
All car riders will exit the rear of the building when school is dismissed at 3:20.  Students should remain behind the first set of awning posts until the whistle sounds indicating to students that it is safe to go to their cars.  Parents are asked to please stay in your cars and let your child come to you.  Please do not get out of the car and walk through the students looking for your child, as this often holds up traffic when we begin to release cars and there is not a driver.  If your child does not see you, simply move forward when the traffic starts to move and pull over to the right side of the road in front of the brick columns.  The traffic director will release one lane at a time to exit the campus.
