Dr. F. Adams - Principal
Dr. Fran Adams was the Instructional Literacy Coach/Lead Teacher Mentor at Summerour Middle School in Gwinnett County where she developed and facilitated staff development that helped teachers and students build their literacy capacity. Moreover, she was a finalist for the Teacher of the Year in 2015, and she was recognized among the top 10% of educators in Georgia.
She earned an educational doctorate from Argosy University and her master’s and educational specialist degrees from Converse College. She worked in private industry after earning her degree in accounting from Wofford College before returning to school to obtain her teaching certification.
She began her teaching career in 1997 at Chester Middle School in Chester County, South Carolina. While serving in that capacity, she was an ADEPT Teacher Evaluator, Teacher Leader.
Dr. Adams enjoys reading, teaching others, and spending time with her family. Moreover, she is excited to finally return home to Union, SC, and she is so excited about supporting each of you.
