The South Carolina State Fair's Ride of Your Life Scholarship | The South Carolina State Fair annually awards 50 scholarships to South Carolina high school students planning to pursue their studies at any public or private college, university, or technical college in the state. The $10,000 scholarships are awarded at an annual rate of $2,500 and are based on academic and extracurricular achievement, communication skills, need, and completeness of the application. | Mar. 15 |
The Bobby Chapman Scholarship | The student recipient must be accepted as a full-time student in an accredited college or university offering academic programs leading to the baccalaureate degree. The Scholarship Committee will only accept FIVE applications per high school. Please note that these five (5) applications will be reviewed by The Spartanburg County Foundation’s Scholarship Committee along with other applications submitted from high schools across the region. The Union County Tuition Scholarship (must be planning to attend USC-Union in the fall)* | To be eligible for this award, in addition to graduating from either Union County High School, Union Christian Day School, Union County Adult Education or a Union County Approved Home School Program with a high school diploma, you must complete and satisfy all requirements on the FAFSA. After your aid is awarded, the Union County Tuition Scholarship will cover any remaining balance of tuition and fees that federal grants, state grants, and LIFE Scholarship do not cover, in order for you to attend tuition free.
