Mrs. Miller: Mrs. Miller is a math rockstar with our kindergarten students! She gets them talking about their mathematical thinking and using hands-on manipulatives to make sense of their ideas. Her students beam with pride as they share and show off their learning each day! It is evident anytime you walk into her classroom that learning is a priority. We are so thankful to have Mrs. Miller as a Math Mountain Mover at BES! 

ELA

Mrs. Kingsmore: Mrs. Kingsmore is a second-grade teacher who has a love for reading and puts her heart into making sure that her students are successful readers! We are so thankful that Mrs. Kingsmore shares her love of literacy with all of our students and staff at BES!

Mrs. Brackett: In her first year implementing the i-Ready Math Curriculum, Mrs. Brackett has created dynamic, data-driven lessons that keep students highly engaged. Her thoughtful planning and enthusiasm have led to impressive growth and a strong classroom culture of mathematical curiosity!

Mrs. Silvey: Mrs. Silvey strives to continually grow as an educator and share her expertise in early childhood instruction with her team and students. Her love for teaching, dedication to professional learning and tireless efforts to inspire young readers makes her a true example of what it means to be an #EagleEducator!

Mrs. Hendrix: Mrs. Hendrix is doing a wonderful job bringing our new math standards to life in first grade! She encourages her students to use manipulatives, explore different strategies, and truly think about how numbers work. Her classroom is full of curiosity, confidence, and growing math minds!

Mrs. Cudd: Mrs. Cudd goes above and beyond to meet the diverse needs of our Monarch Stars! She thoughtfully plans lessons to ensure that every child receives the support and challenges they need to shine as readers and writers. Thank you, Mrs. Cudd, for your dedication, creativity and heart for literacy!

Mrs. Cardoza: As a first-year teacher, Mrs. Cardoza has embraced the new i-Ready math curriculum.  She helps students feel confident with math. She works diligently to make sure the needs of ALL students are met! Her clarity and pacing build a strong foundation for future mathematical thinkers!

Mrs. Brewington: Mrs. Brewington's passion for reading and commitment to helping students grow as lifelong learners makes a lasting impact every day! We are so thankful that she inspires a love of literacy at JEMS!

Jonesville Middle School

Mr. Wilson: Mr. Wilson comes in each day with the attitude that each day is a new day full of possibilities and opportunities to learn.  Not only does he teach from bell to bell, but he also has high expectation that each of his students will learn and grow.  His students are highly engaged and making great strides.

Sims Middle School

Mrs. Risher: Mrs. Risher is a standout educator whose passion for math and dedication to her students shine through in everything she does. Known for her cooperative spirit and willingness to help, she creates a classroom environment where students are committed to learning. Her hard work and commitment make her a true asset to Sims Middle School.

UCHS

Mrs. Taylor Beaty: has been inspiring our English students for five wonderful years. She consistently achieves some of the highest English 2 End-of-Course test scores each year, thanks to her unwavering dedication and saint-like patience. UCHS is so grateful to have her as part of our faculty!

Ms. Jasmine Barnes has spent seven years making a difference in the math department. Her students consistently score among the highest in Algebra 1, and she brings an uplifting energy and confidence to every class. She even volunteers her time for extra tutoring just to ensure every student gets the support they deserve. We couldn’t imagine our faculty without her!
