Grant for Art Supplies
Dr. Lacresha Byrd, Union County Schools Director of Instruction, and Mrs. Lisa Thomas, Director of Finance, were recently awarded a Duke Energy Foundation grant for supplies for schools in the district. The district was awarded a total of $3,500, which will be split between all schools in Union County. These funds will be used to purchase art supplies for visual arts classrooms. The district is excited to partner with the Duke Energy Foundation as they support local schools.
